For my Advanced Portfolio i need to establish my own music taste so that i can use my own preference.
I believe that i have a very broad range of music taste. This is because i listening to nearly all genres excluding 'heavy metal' and music similar to that. I do believe this is because of what my parents listen to, My mum listens to artist such as Rihanna and Katy Perry, where as my dad listens to artist's such as Queen and The Wombats. I also believe i have this taste in music because I listen to Radio 1 everyday when i'm getting ready and during the day. Radio 1 play a range of types of music.
I feel like i cant pin point one particular genre of music, when i looked on my ipod 25 top played i found that there was a wide range from Abba, Pink, Katy B, Katy Perry, Vanessa Carlton and The Wombats.
The last concert i went to was in 2000 when i went to watch Steps this is because i found that i was never really into concerts until recently. The last album i brough was "R Rated" by Rihanna.
I also listen to music in different ways mainly being through my Ipod , but when im at home i do use youtube often and occasionally watch music channels on TV, mainly 'Kiss', 'Viva' and 'The Box'. They all play music which is the Charts.

Evaluation of Foundation Portfolio
When doing my foundation Portfolio, I felt that i had many strengths and weaknesses, all of which will be considered to use to my advantage in my Avvanced Portfolio.
Research and Planning
I feel that our grouped didn't work very effectively at this point, We was very disorganised and didnt stick to the deadline we was giving, this meant we had to rush everythink at the last minute. However, we did get everything done giving several good ideas about a opening to an horror film. I feel like i could of contrubuted more to this section of the portfolio.
Construction
During the construction process of the horror opening, I felt like at the start of the process our group worked very well organising dates to film and sticking to them but towards the end, we wasnt very well organised and as we had to keep filming the same things because of the quality of the filming but at the end we had all the footage we needed and more to create the opening we pictured.. Also a group member left which put pressure on Me and Harriet but i believe that this made us work harder because are final peice was what we wanted to create to a high standard.

Overall, I believe that i made a satisfactory contribution at the start to my group's horror film opening but than because a member left i started to get alot more involved in the whole process. I believe that if we was more organised and used our time more wisely our opening would be improved greatly. I now know that for my Advanced Portfolio what i need to improve on, these are my organisation skills and sticking to deadlines.
